Hours Cost & Directions

We need to speak with you before your first visit.  Always call to confirm that we are herding.

For your convenience, most of our training sessions take place during the weekend or after normal work hours on weekdays. The beginner is encouraged to attend Sunday classes, but if you can't, come on another day. New students need to call ahead for schedule details.

 

Depending on the time of year and the weather the typical wait for lessons on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays is anywhere from 20 minutes to two hours. Sundays are usually the busiest days with waits of two hours or more. We get to everybody who arrives and signs up during lesson hours (see below) We often are giving lessons until 9 pm during the week.

All lesson days are first come, first served, but you need to sign up in person.

NO LESSONS ON MONDAYS OR FRIDAYS.

  No one is allowed on the property before sign-up times.  This is strictly enforced.

Sundays- Lessons start at 9:30 AM
Signups begin at 6 AM and end at 2 PM - strictly enforced

Lessons are held until the last student signed up has completed his/her lessons.
$10 per lesson

 

Saturdays - Lessons start at 3:30 PM

No signups earlier than 3:00 PM - strictly enforced

Think you are going to arrive after 7pm? Call to be sure lessons are still going.

$12 per lesson


Tues/Weds/Thurs - Lessons start at 5:00 PM

No signups earlier than 4:30 PM- strictly enforced

Ewe-topiaŽ LLC is located near Fort Lewis, Washington - about an hour and a half south of Seattle.

 Directions: 

  • From I-5 north or south, take exit 127 (Highway 512 - Puyallup/Mt. Rainier)
  • Go 2 miles east to the second exit (Highway 7 - Spanaway/Parkland) - turn right
  • Go 4.6 miles south; where the main road turns to the left, take the exit to the right (Highway 507 - Roy/Centralia)
  • Go 7.4 miles southwest to the small town of Roy
  • Drive all the way through the town, past the Union 76 station, & take a left onto S. 288th
  • Where the road seems to fork, stay to the left
  • Ewe-topia is 1.4 miles down 288th - go all the way up the gravel driveway through the gate at the back
  • PLEASE DRIVE UNDER 10 MPH once you turn off 288th St
